Lucy focuses on core strength from both a physical and a metaphysical perspective. She believes that the body is a gateway to the psyche and the soul, and sees yoga practice as the training ground to living a fuller, more connected life.

Lucy’s classes are energising and inspiring, grounding and nurturing. She encourages her students to embrace their own magnificence, tap into their own resources and inner power, and ultimately to develop a more loving relationship with the self.

Lucy has an Advanced Diploma in Yoga Teaching. She is a certified Life Coach, Master NLP and Timeline Therapy Practitioner.

Chris has a deep passion for yoga, meditation, mindfulness and the healing arts as well as an insatiable appetite for adventure. As a teacher Chris’s ability to empower students to move their practice beyond their perceived edge makes him truly unique. Chris believes in a well-rounded, balanced practice and wants his students to leave his class empowered, strengthened and opened into a greater sense of self.

You can expect classes that are physically challenging yet truly holistic and soaked with a touch of Southern California sunshine. Chris has studied and taught extensively in the United States, Australia, India, and Thailand. Originally from Southern California, USA, Chris now lives in Melbourne.

Lucienne aims for parallel strengthening of both the mind and body, believing it is important to challenge oneself freely and to be inquisitive about the body, without feeling judged. 

Lucienne encourages her students to turn their focus inward, to tune into their own unique experience and expression of their practice, therefore creating a deeper awareness, understanding and acceptance of the self.

In 2012 Lucienne trained at Moksha Academy of Yoga. Since then, Lucienne has studied Prana Flow Yoga and incorporates this style into her classes.

Born and bred in Singapore. Kelvin moved down under at the end of 2002 to pursue a degree in Journalism, after serving two years in the military, which he believes not only made him physically stronger but more importantly mentally tougher.  

Prior to that Kelvin had never maintained a healthy diet and lifestyle and it was only through the advice of his only Sister that he discovered yoga 10 years ago. Fuelled by curiosity, passion, love and the connection between yoga and the mind - kelvin's yoga journey begun. 

As a yoga teacher, Kelvin believes he is “forever a student”. His humility and eagerness to explore the different facets of yoga practice enable him to bring fresh insights into his creative and dynamic classes. 

Kelvin continue to inspire those around him with his infectious personality, warmth and humour. Expect a fun, strong practice with intuitive hands on adjustments.

Christy’s classes offer students the chance to really understand the mechanics of their bodies and use this awareness to achieve deep strengthening and opening. 

With an emphasis on longer holds combined with fluid movement and breath work, Christy encourages her students to turn inward and find a way to connect with themselves and their practice that resonates with their whole body.

Christy has always been passionate about health and wellness. She is a trained acupuncturist, has been a dedicated student of Ashtanga practice since 2006 and completed her Yoga teacher training in her homeland of Canada, in 2010.

RYAN MANNIX

Ryan has always had a keen interest in movement. He was a professional athlete for over ten years, representing Australia in both running and duathlon. When Ryan was sidelined with an injury from a serious bike accident, he started yoga as a means of rehabilitation. What was meant to be short term, became a long loving passion for this new form of movement. Yoga became a new opportunity to move and feel connected.

 

 

 

Ryan’s classes are focused around a strong flowing movement, but also very much centred around connecting with the body and calming the mind. His nuturing presence creates a supportive space for his students to delve deeper into their asana practice.

After two years of practice, Ryan completed his first 200 hour teacher training in Bali though Bohdi Yoga. He has since gone on to study with Laughing Lotus, Yoke yoga, yin yoga with Hugh Lee and Jen Crescenzo, hot yoga with Jimmy Barkan, amongst many other short courses and workshops in Australia and abroad.

Every day Jennalea falls more in love with yoga. Her practice has taken her on a journey of self-inquiry and created a sense of inner peace and connectedness. The immense gratitude she feels for yoga provides the foundation upon which her classes are built.   

Jennalea’s classes are nurturing and powerful. Her beautifully personal approach and love for hands-on assisting allow for a connection with each individual in the room, whilst her creative and playful flow sequencing unites the class in a collective state of intra and inter-personal connectivity.

Her aim for her students is to cultivate in them the same devotion, passion and trust in the practice and process of yoga, that has been so transformative in her own life.

Jennalea completed her training at Power Living Australia Yoga. She is currently studying Nutritional Medicine, with a passion for holistic, natural approaches to preventing disease and disharmony in the body.

She invites her students to cultivate a sense of softness and ease in themselves no matter how physically or mental challenging the practice becomes. She considers herself a forever student and commands her classes with warmth and humility. It’s this light touch and her palpable, infectious love of yoga that will have you returning home to the mat each week.

Be ready to flow with grace, to build heat and cultivate a sense of internal peace in Amy’s Vinyasa Flow and Keep It Mellow classes.

Amy is driven to learn and is deeply dedicated to the study of yoga. She has complete numerous teacher trainings and courses. Most recently she undertook her second 200 hour TT with Creature Yoga in Byron Bay under dynamo Tahl Rinsky.

Annie was drawn to yoga because of a love of movement. She quickly started pursuing what lay beneath the poses as various teachers and texts evoked curiosity.  She has remained interested not just in the benefits of consistent practice, but in understanding how the practice leads to a sense of ease and contentment. 

Annie trained in Vinyasa and Hatha with The School Yoga Institute, and undertook her advanced training through Jungle Yoga. She has also undertaken Embodied Flow training with Tara Judelle and kids yoga teacher training. With a background in dance teaching, Annie is a skilled communicator of body movement and alignment; her transition from practicing to teaching yoga came naturally.

Psychology study has instilled a particular interest in the relationship between Yoga and emotional wellbeing. Annie’s love of movement means she finds yoga a great platform for self-inquiry and believes that the holistic approach of yoga makes it an accessible technique for achieving a greater level of self awareness and connection.

Annie combines these interests to teach a strong, slow Vinyasa flow, with an emphasis on breath and technique.

A yin class with Wallis is a fully immersive experience. Her intelligent sequencing offers both a deep stretching and lengthening of the body and a relaxing of the mind. Known her intuitive and expert hands on adjustments and occasional massage make Wallis's classes truely special. 

Wallis yin classes are recommended for those wanting a deeper physical release rather than a purely restorative experience. If you're a runner, cyclist or someone recovering from an injury the individual attentive in this class will be perfect for you.  

Wallis has undertaken 200 hour Barkan Method TT with Jimmy Barkan, Level 1 & 2 Yin Yoga TT with Jennifer Crescenzo.

Leigh started practicing yoga in 2008 after recovering from several broken bones, the results of being a teenage boy. Looking for something to build strength and flexibility he followed his mother to a yoga class.

He found himself drawn to the practice more and more for the serene stillness that resided in him after an Asana class.

Leigh's classes are guided by the breath. He encourages you to really tune into your breath, mind and body, to find your comfort zone, then extend beyond it. Expect classes inspired by the energy of dance and movement which clear the way for moments of serene stillness.
