Join us for an exclusive one-off Hatha Yoga class with Bec Isaacs, Hatha Yoga is an ancient, time-tested practice that supports the connection between body, breath, mind and spirit. While all asana-based practices fall under Hatha Yoga, in its classical sense the practice was designed to balance and refine prana (life-force) and prepare the practitioner for deeper states of awareness through meditation.
This 90-minute complete practice with Bec offers an opportunity to explore Hatha Yoga in a more traditional sense, with elements of tantra and remedial yoga included throughout. Bec’s approach is direct and potent but offered with inclusion and trauma informed awareness.
The practice will begin with philosophy, meditation and a short savasana, before moving into an intentional sequence of breath-centred movement, long static holds, rest and meditation. Although the practice may feel simple, it is not necessarily easy.
Simplicity, stillness and silence often invite a different, deeper kind of challenge. Spacious, subtle and grounding, this practice offers a chance to refine awareness and reconnect with your deeper self.
