Explore new ways to move, engage and feel in your teaching with visiting international yoga teacher and facilitator Simon Park. Centre your body and mind and add more fluidity and grace to your classes by integrating transitions that teach specific actions. Plus, learn an approach that will lead you to transformational hands-on assists.

Assisting is a very important element of teaching and a great compliment to good verbal cues. It requires excellent vision, precision, sensitivity, multiple points of awareness and an ego-free approach. A skilful touch has the power to transport your students to a whole new level of awareness. Empower and educate your flow in this exciting training.

Acclaimed by Yoga Journal as one of the most influential and gifted Yoga teachers of the next generation, Simon Park has been leading workshops, teacher training’s and retreats around the world since 2002. His freestyle Vinyasa is fluid and intuitive, and encourages freedom through self-expression. Profoundly influenced by the teachings of Shiva Rea, Richard Freeman, Maty Ezraty, Joan White, and Dharma Mitra, 'Liquid Flow Yoga' feels like a beautiful dance between classical and modern yoga. Dubbed the ‘Flying Nomad’, he draws inspiration from road legends such as Jimi Hendrix, who said, "the Earth is my home”.

Anatomy Training - The 12 Troublemakers

A training for yoga teachers who want to deepen their anatomy knowledge and broaden their understanding of mobility. Moving buoyantly through life with mobile joints and a powerful and agile spine doesn't have to be a dream. But part of the ongoing conversation with our body is getting to know the 12 ‘troublemakers’ - 12 muscles that commonly prevent this from happening.

In this interactive training with the legendary Gwyn Williams, you will explore these 12 troublemakers energetically and structurally through movement patterns and partner work. As you discover how to strengthen, open and hydrate them, you will gain the confidence and knowledge to help your students move with greater ease and joy.

A renowned international teacher and self-confessed life force fanatic, Gwyn is dedicated to all human beings' non-division and heart-opening. The dissolving of division into unity continues to be his inspiration, and the aspects of community, connection and contribution are at the core of the practice. His passion for alternative therapies and connecting his heart with his hands led him to open the Mt. Ninderry Healing Centre on the Sunshine Coast in 1999. On the surface, Zenthai is a fusion of Zen shiatsu, Thai massage and osteopathic technique, but beneath is an enriched conversation with a vibrant, ever-changing life. An evolution of Gwyn's hands-on healing modality is Zenthai flow - a rhythmic, fluid yoga asana and Qigong practice involving the five elements (earth, water, fire, metal and wood).
